Warren Stewart, Jr.

Leads worship at Church of The Remnant. Son of Pastor Warren H. Stewart Sr., of First Institutional Baptist Church, who authored 'Victory Together'.  Stewart Jr. was ten years old when his father led the movement to celebrate the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday in Arizona.

Fred Holloway

Active member of the Tonto Church of Christ. A resident of Phoenix since 1951, Holloway began shopping for a home when he was released from the military in 1955. He says he looked for housing in  the communities that were available to him at a the time.

Joanna Lucio is an Associate Professor at the School of Public Affairs in the College of Public Service and Community Solutions. She’s been teaching at ASU for 10 years, as well as doing research on segregation, housing and neighborhood housing policies.
